We aim to complete orders as quickly as possible, but in some cases we may need extra information to verify your identity and protect customers. This is more common with first-time purchases.
Most card and instant-payment orders complete within 90 minutes once payment clears. Bank transfer orders (SEPA, ACH) take 1–3 business days.
Common reasons for delays
Your order is more likely to take longer if it's your first order with Banxa (identify verification required), your payment method has a settlement delay, or our compliance system has flagged it for a manual review. In all of these cases, we'll email you if we need anything from you.
Check your email first
Before contacting us, check your inbox — including spam — for an email from an official Banxa email address. We'll always tell you if we need more information. If you've received an email, follow the instructions and your order will move forward.
